South Africa Travel Guide


There was some reluctance for choosing South Africa as a tourist spot by the tourist earlier. But the picture has been changing since last few years and people are attracted to this place for its vast wildlife diversity. South Africa was in the grip of racial apartheid but now the things seems to moving on and things are getting better. The place has witnessed some serious development and is still in process. The climate is favorable for tourism all along the year. Some issues still remain open such as AIDS and poverty.

They are the leftovers of the herds that once wandered the Eastern Cape. Another famous attraction of South Africa is the Shipwreck Coast. This stretch of Eastern Cape coast, a churchyard for several ships, is mostly unspoilt. There are a number of resort towns and the usual casinos, but it is effortless stay away from all this. The Shipwreck Hiking Trail stretches for 64km, but there are numerous entrance and leaving areas for trekkers. In this area you have a facility to put up your own camp and walk around leisurely. The Blyde River Canyon National Park is also one of the major attractions among tourists visiting South Africa. The Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve is one of South Africa's picturesque places of interest, having the breathtaking perspective of speculate sight.
